LOST INNOCENCE
"Lost Innocence," exhibited at the B.A.D Gallery space in Bournemouth, 2023, is an installation piece that delves into themes of nostalgia and the influence of the environment on emotions. Visitors access the work by crawling through a small space, entering an area resembling a childhood den. This space is furnished with blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, and illuminated by a soothing pink glow. At the centre of the installation is a projection of Lauren's own childhood experiences with her sister, accompanied by music she composed.
The goal of this project is to engage the audience and explore whether her personal childhood experiences can evoke similar feelings of nostalgia and comfort for them, despite the differences in individual backgrounds and experiences.

Obsession
'Obsession', exhibited in the giant gallery, bournemouth, 2024, is a project exploring the truth value of archives. presented through a compelling slideshow of images, the semi-fictionalised narrative grows from sweet childhood memories, to an intense state of obsession, effectively portraying the dichotomy of comfort and discomfort.
The project also addresses the unsettling feelings of stress and anxiety that women experience when feeling as if they are being followed on the street. the installation features a black and white flashing slideshow, accompanied by a harsh projector clicking sound which increases as the slideshow goes on, intensifying the viewers experience.

REALISE CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
As part of my marketing internship at Realise, I was responsible for creating client testimonials to showcase the firm's impact. One of these featured Laura Babb, director of Courage to Shine Coaching. Using carefully crafted questions, Laura shared her experience, highlighting the benefits and ease of working with Realise. This testimonial was designed for social media, reinforcing trust and authenticity in the brand.

CLUB EVENTS work - video edit
In 2023 Lauren had the pleasure of photographing multiple music events hosted in nightclubs. Alongside helping her gain a massive insight into the House scene in Bournemouth, she was also able to compile her favourite images from the events and use her post production skills to produce a creative video to demonstrate her abilities.
